The Aloft is located in the heart of the American Tobacco Historic District, just steps away from a variety of dining and entertainment options. It’s also right next door to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, where there happens to be a home game every night during our workshop - a fun way to unwind. Just a short drive or Uber away is the Ninth Street District, which offers a grocery store and other dining establishments. Aloft provides free wireless, a snack bar and cocktail lounge, a small pool with a great view, and a fitness center.
We have reserved a room block for a discounted daily rate of $139.00 for June 21–26, which includes both the night before and the night after the workshop. Click here to reserve your hotel room. You must reserve your room by May 17, 2017 in order to guarantee the discounted rate and room availability.
PARKING: Ample parking is available in a deck next to the hotel. Please note, there is a $10 fee per night for parking. You must stop at the front desk first to get a pass BEFORE entering the deck.

DINING: In addition to the small snack bar at the hotel, a variety of dining options are within walking distance on the American Tobacco Campus including: Basan, Cuban Revolution, Mellow Mushroom, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Nana Steak, Only Burger, Saladelia, The District, Tobacco Road, and Tyler’s Taproom.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION: The nearest airport is Raleigh-Durham International (RDU). Uber is active in the Durham area, with a designated Uber stand right at the airport. RDU Taxi Service is also recommended, and fares are roughly $30 to downtown Durham.
