I believe that evolutionary astrology gives us understanding and guidance focusing on psychological and spiritual growth, while encouraging freedom and choice.

My passion for astrology started in my childhood with a fascination for mythology and the sky. When I first started studying astrology, I felt that I found my long lost first language. Looking at the sky gives us the wisdom to look within and looking within gives us the understanding that we are co-creators with the Universe.

My astrological training started in Romania with astrology teacher Ion Hristescu and his program of Functional Astrology. I studied individually the work of Steven Forrest, Jeffrey Wolf Green, Maurice Fernandez and Mark Jones. After meeting Steven Forrest in Italy at his last class in Europe, I enrolled in his Astrology Apprenticeship Program and crossed the ocean for it. All the classes in person with this brilliant teacher and wise man unlocked something more than astrological knowledge in me - a deep and ancient wisdom that I didn’t know I had.  I think it reflects exactly what an evolutionary astrology reading does for someone, unlocking gifts and potentials while compassionately developing self-acceptance, awareness and clarity on your path. BRIEF STATEMENT:

Over thirty years ago I made my way to a metaphysical book store in New York known as Mason’s Bookshop. Interested in metaphysics and looking forward to my first astrological reading, I knew that we’re all born with a purpose and face challenges that help guide us to that purpose, and I had a sense that there was other work I was meant to do.

Zoltan Mason strongly encouraged me to study astrology that day, as he pointed to relevant planets and signs such as Uranus in my tenth house, saying I’d do well with both “a vocation and an avocation”.  I purchased two books, one of which was based on Morin de Villefranche’s system of astrology and for which I later discovered that Zoltan was a leading expert on and had written the introduction for the book entitled Astrosysthesis. I left with good insights that day, yet also some angst about the “gloom and doom” advice more typical of the times, for example the influence of the placement of the planet Saturn, wondering if it was “bad”.

At the time I was a Pan American “Stewardess”.  Adventure and freedom ranked high on my list, and just slightly below my quest to find love, along with a strong desire to help people. I used my travel opportunities to bring toys and clothing to orphanages abroad. As years passed I did find love, had a family of my own, worked in the business world and flew for another airline, until one day I pulled out those two books and recalled that Zolton said I could overcome the “gloomy” influences and somehow it was linked to Astrology. My interest was rekindled. I began self-study while looking for a teacher; eventually coming upon Steven Forrest and becoming clear we have our birth charts so we can move forward on an Evolutionary journey. When I stepped into Steven’s Apprenticeship program in 2013, it felt as though I had come home.

Saturn isn’t “bad”, Saturn is hard. It asks us to work hard and mature, and rewards us later on if we do. All the planets ask us questions; thus, within the issues of the planets, also lie the solutions.  My emphasis with clients is to help unravel and heal unresolved issues that are being carried forth and manifesting in the present to be turned into something that works better for you. We have the ability to shift and transcend our focus to create a happier, more satisfying life, or to repeat the old karma all over again.

Evolutionary Astrology has helped empower me to develop a deeper awareness and clarity about my path, which has led me to better decisions and finding my voice. It takes some imagination and compassionate self-acceptance, and of course some willingness to navigate Saturn in a positive way, along with everything revealed in our birth chart.

My astrological “scientific observation” began at age sixteen. But it reached maturity in 1998 when I began formal studies with my mentors Steven Forrest and Demetra George and started consulting with clients. I’m a Massage Therapist and an Evolutionary Astrology. I’ve found that both disciplines allow me to follow the cycles and evolving patterns unfolding within us and around us. BRIEF STATEMENT: I discovered astrology when I was 13; living at boarding school, fascinated by my roommate’s astrology book which became mine. A world opened for me that has become a lifelong study.  A seeker since I was very young, I was drawn to the ideas and perspective of astrology. The astrology based on his spiritual work is known as Astrosophy. In my practice I combine the wisdom contained in these systems with the ancient healing arts of acupuncture and Jin Shin Jyutsu. This enables working with a client on all levels of being including the physical. It is a powerful method of helping to restore wholeness. This requires a one-on-one hands on approach, but does allow for great flexibility in treatment possibilities.

Robert led Scotland during the First War of Scottish Independence against England. He fought successfully during his reign to restore Scotland to an independent kingdom and is regarded in Scotland as a national hero. Leah is also a descendant of Captain Henry Wilkinson of the first convict voyage on the Ship 'Larkins' to Australia from England on 20 July 1817 and arrived in Sydney on 22 November 1817. On 8 December 1793, at the outbreak of the French Revolutionary Wars, another descendant of Leah's, William Wilkinson, received a letter of marque from the British for the French ship 'Indispensable'. This authorised the ship 'Indispensable' to capture enemy vessels should the opportunity arise. In 1794 Wilkinson discovered a strait between the Florida Islands and Guadalcanal to the southwest, and Malaita to the northeast, that he named the Indispensable Strait. On 5th November 1795, on her first convict voyage to Australia from England, 'Indispensable', under the command of William Wilkinson, sailed from England. Leah trained at the Sydney Astrology School and is a Forrest Trained Evolutionary Astrologer.
