A Conversation Between Astrologers

At NORWAC 2011, I got Steven together with UK-based astrologer Mark Jones and filmed the conversation that unfolded. You can tell by the release date that I’m a little behind with my workload! But the conversation is a timeless one, and we’re happy to be able to finally share it with you here.

Steven and Mark start out talking about some of the technical differences between their approaches, and then the conversation naturally shifts towards more common ground as they discuss the counseling dynamic in a consultation, and the popular subject of fate vs. free will.

Out of Bounds Research

Thanks to everyone who sent me feedback about last month’s article on Venus Out of Bounds. I received so many heartfelt personal emails from many of you who either have the same configuration or know someone who does. Your stories are really valuable to me so thanks for sharing them. 

I’m continuing my research, with a focus on Venus, Mars, Mercury, and the Moon out of bounds. I’m also looking at parallels and contraparallels of declination. It’s really fascinating work, and I hope to have more writing to share with you as the year progresses.

As a little teaser, I’ll just share one fun pattern that has already jumped out with Mars out of bounds – trailblazing female rockers and iconic female singers! Take a look at this list of powerhouse women in music with natal Mars out of bounds: Janis Joplin, Chrissie Hynde, Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, Siouxsie Sioux, Joni Mitchell, Marianne Faithful, Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga, Dusty Springfield, and Diana Ross.
